Sensationalism by Michael Terry Nowhere is the degeneration of news journalism more evident
than in those places which profess to be the leaders in the field.
North America’s two largest news organizations, CNN and FOX,
have gone great lengths in reducing their own mandate and made
great strides in damaging their own credibility. In recent years,
the gaze towards these huge media beasts has become more
critical and more intense. Media watchdog groups have formed to
expose the bias built into these conveyors of information
(although seeing these institutions as biased is about as difficult

Two recent polls both appear to be very bad news for Dion - until
you take a closer look.

Rants by Al Kirk JULY 17
First of all, shut ‘er down and second of all, the gas company is
charging me $1.35 for gasoline. Diesel is like $150 a barrel and
it's a by–product. I want everyone out there to start shuttin’ ‘er
down. [Ed. – Shutting it down.]
My rant is for all those people who like to rat on each other and
spread rumours, but hate it when rumours are said about them at
work. Enough is enough. It's not going to help you in the long
run, to get a raise or get promoted. [ more ]
